Delhi is surrounded by places you can go on a quick short trip to. From Shimla to Jaipur, Rishikesh, Nainital, all these places are less than 500 kms away from the capital, making them the favourite destination for Delhiites on a long weekend, or for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sharing his favourite travel destination, Delhi boy Himansh Kohli said he loves to travel to Mukteshwar, which is a quick drive from the capital.
The actor, who will be soon seen in “Boondi Raita”, also admitted that in India one can choose their travel destination based on their mood, which other countries don’t offer.
“There’s a variety to the type of places one can go to in India. You can customize where you can go on the basis of your mood and I don’t think people in other countries enjoy these diverse experiences. India is truly incredible when it comes to tourism and there is so much diversity in culture, traditions, people, food, etc. in every state, that you almost feel like you’re traveling the whole world in one country,” he said.
“Two of my favourite places, when I’m up North, are one is Ganga Devi Peak and the second is the beautiful valleys of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand. Plus it’s an easy drive from Delhi and is good for a family getaway. So, I prefer going to Mukteshwar or Mussoorie. They are also isolated and serene which makes it perfect for these COVID times,” the “Yaariyan” actor added. But he is not just a mountain person, he is a beach lover too, and he is fond of Goa.”The other place I really love is Goa. I think it’s the go-to destination for all people, especially Mumbaikars. I love Goa for the clean beaches, peppy vibe and scenic beauty of the coastal region. Also, I am a huge fan of coastal food, and there are far too many good places to eat in Goa,” Himansh signed off.
