Just want to work on good scripts with good filmmakers: Sushrii Shreya Mishraa

Actress Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, who made her Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, is looking forward to her next film, Malaal, in which she is seen in an item number. Explaining how she bagged the track, the actress says, “I auditioned for the role. There were a lot of girls who auditioned for the part. I wasn’t sure, because I had reservations about doing an item song and also the fact that the makers wanted to have three girls in the song. But when I found out that Sanjay sir (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) has gone to great lengths to compose the track and how much he loved it, and that Ganesh Acharya sir would be the choreographer, I immediately became enthusiastic about it and bagged it.”

Besides doing item songs, Sushrii also hopes to explore acting in films. “I’ve done theatre for the last two years, so I’ve polished my craft as an actor. I’ve done visharad in Odissi and I’m trained in aerial silk rope dance, Kathak and Bollywood style, to name a few. I just want to work consistently with good people, good scripts, songs, directors, choreographers and create some magic on screen. I hope that after this song’s release, it materialises into bigger work opportunities for me,” says the actress.
