Based on Geeta Manek’s book ‘Sardar: The Game Changer,’ the serial delves into the significant contribution of Sardar Patel in integrating over 562 princely states into India.
Rajit Kapur highlighted the challenges of bringing such an extraordinary serial to the screen and praised producer Rajesh Bokadia for the initiative. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to portray Sardar Patel, acknowledging the immense responsibility that comes with the role.
Geeta Manek expressed her emotional connection to the project, having worked on research for the past seven to eight years. She credited her co-writers, Ashu Patel and Viral Raj, for their collaboration and expressed surprise at the book’s journey to the screen.
