The Guests of Honour MLA Bharati Lavhekar and Shri Ram Jawrahani were welcomed by Shri Ajay Chandwani & Mr. Manoj Badlani. Corporators Shri. Rohan Rathod, Smt.Sudha Singh, Yogiraj Dabholkar, Ranjana Patil, Aneesh Makwane, Ajeet Maniyal & Shri Vithal Banderi, were the Special Invitees. Inaugural address was made by Shri. Lal Khatri. The Chief Guest Shri. Raj Purohit, in his speech spoke about the achievements of the Sindhi community and the importance of preserving Sindhi language and culture, he also emphasised on the role Sindhi community plays in the economic progress of India. On this auspicious occasion a historic announcement was made by MLA Bharati Lavekar, as the Junction leading to Lokhandwala was named after Sindhi spiritual Guru Dada Shri. Jashan P. Vaswani. Prominent among the guests were Shri, Murli Adnani, Shri Chander Manghnani.Veena Dingrani, Komal Mehboobani & Kiran Jagtiani felicitated the honorary guests with traditional shawl and Garland. Paresh Nagpal Co-ordinated and stream lined the event. Rajiv Purswani sent his wishes to the team for this successful event. The traditional Sindhi “Pallav” was sung by famous sindhi singer, Shri Prem Bharatiya and vote of thanks was given by Shri. Manoj Badlani.
