The COVID-19 pandemic has hit us hard, especially with the lockdown which continued for over three months. Everything except the essential services was closed, even the entertainment industry was shut during the time. While a few shows went off-air, a lot of actors lost jobs and some even suffered financially. Debutante Manasvi Vashisht, who is seen in Beyond Dream Entertainment’s (Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s) “Ishq Mein Marjawan 2”, says he feels lucky to be working during these trying times.
The actor, who plays the role of a rich, spoilt-brat, Aryan Raisinghania, said, “These are really hard times for a lot of people and I am no doubt lucky to play an important character in one of the most popular shows on TV right now.” Born and brought up in Ambala, Manasvi pursued an engineering course and was working in Bangalore for seven years before he got spotted on Instagram. Asked for the kind of response he is getting for his role, he said, “Well, owing to the sweet messages I keep getting from the viewers, I’d say that people are appreciating my work.”
As a debutante, he is enjoying his work and said, “All us co-actors have a lot of fun on the set.” As far as the COVID-19 guidelines and precautions on the set, he praised the production house for taking all necessary safety measures, Manasvi said, “It’s commendable how the entire crew takes all the necessary precautions while shooting. That’s the only reason we’re able to pull off shooting every day. Safety comes first.”
