National – 7th January 2025 : The Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), accredited by the Federation of Film Societies of India (FFSI) North Region, will be having it’s 11 edition along with the support of Mehrangarh Museum Trust from February 1 to 5, 2025 at INOX PVR, Ansal Royal Plaza & Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur. This year’s festival will feature the theme “CINEMASTHAN – A Panorama of Cinema in Rajasthan.” The event will also mark a decade of RIFF’s successful journey in promoting cinema in Rajasthan.
The Second list of the 11th Rajasthan International Film Festival 2025 was released today where a total of 28 films have been officially selected in RIFF Competition Section, in which 12 films have been selected in the feature film category and 16 films have been selected in the non-feature film category. The Managing Trustee of RIFF Film Club and Founder & Festival Director of RIFF, Mr. Somendra Harsh, said that the Opening Ceremony of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) 2025 will take place on February 1, 2025, at INOX PVR, Ansal Royal Plaza in Jodhpur. This year, Black Box arena will be set up where films of Viewing Room – RIFF Film Market will be available for all five days. Following this, from February 2 to 5, 2025, film screenings, open forums, workshops, and talk shows will also be held at INOX PVR, Ansal Royal Plaza. Like every year, film screenings at RIFF 2025 will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, free of charge. Additionally, RIFF 2025 will also have film stalls and exhibitions where audiences, especially students, can attend for free. The Grand Closing Ceremony and RIFF Award Night 2025 will be held on February 5, 2025, at Jai Pol, Mehrangarh Fort, and Chokhelao Mahal Terrace in Jodhpur.
