“Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award 2021” was organized by Chand Sultana of Bharat Nirman Foundation Charitable Trust at Iskcon Auditorium, Mumbai. The Chief Guest was Dr. (Professor) Kirit Solannki (M P, Lok Sabha).
Salma Agha, Udit Narayan, Anu Malik, Deepshikha Nagpal, Madhushree, Niharica Raizada, Sunil Pal, Dr. Bharati Lavekar (MLA), Ekta Jain, Kailash Masoom, Ekaansh Bhaardwaaj were honored with this prestigious award. Maurice Noronha, Dr. Khalid Sheikh, Dr. Rajesh Dere, Parvez Lakdawala, Satyam Anandji, Vijay Kedia, Aaradhya Gupta, Vyjayanthimala Kamble, Chandrakant Dwivedi were also conferred with the Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Award 2021.
Legendary singer Salma Agha said that it is the audience’s love that our family members are being loved for four generations. My daughter Zara Khan’s song Kusu Kusu has become a huge hit. I want to congratulate Chand Sultana of Bharat Nirman Foundation Charitable Trust for organizing this Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award . Chand Sultana is also a member of the Censor Board. At such a young age, she has achieved a great position. I am feeling very proud to have received an award in the name of a personality like Abdul Kalam Sahab. Salma Agha also praised Dr. Bharati Lavekar (MLA) for her great work .
Anu Malik said that Kirit Solanki ji told me that you have given patriotic music in many films including Border. I am very happy that I have been given the award in the name of APJ Abdul Kalam, I feel as if I have received his blessings.
Actress Niharica Raizada said that it is a matter of pride for me to get the award in the name of APJ Abdul Kalam. A person with a mind like Kalam sahib is an example. I have received this award for the film Sooryavanshi. I am thankful to all the organisers.
Sunil Pal said that getting the award named after APJ Abdul Kalam is a big deal. I am grateful to Kailash Masoom and Chand Sultana for bestowing me with this honour.
Udit Narayan thanked Chand Sultana of Bharat Nirman Foundation Charitable Trust for honoring him .I feel proud to receive an award named after the President Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ.
Vyjayanthi Mala Kamble, a social worker from Palghar who has been helping people over the years, was also honored with this Award.
Singer Madhushree sang the song Kanha So Ja Zara , while Udit Narayan sang Papa Kehte Hain .
